After the collapse of governments, leaderless bands of survivors seek shelter in the ruins of once great cities. Resurgence is a competitive, Euro style board game for up to four players. It features a unique mix of bag building, stealthy worker placement, and resource management, making for a unique gaming experience. At the start of the game, each player chooses a hero who will lead a small group of survivors and some supplies. Each round of the game, players must secretly plan where to send their workers to complete various tasks and exert their influence, whether thats completing missions in the ruins of Moscow; gathering fuel, food, and spare parts; rescuing survivors; learning new skills; or building their base. Resurgence offers multiple paths to victory, and in game events and endgame directive cards add replayability and variety from game to game. At the end of the game, the hero whose faction triumphs becomes the new leader and unites all surviving factions in the refuge of Hope Island.
