To completely remove the Dry Pod from your kayak simple move the latch to the open position, release the rubber strap, and the Dry Pod can be quickly removed and stored in your vehicle while transporting your kayak to keep your valuables in a safe location. The second common use of the Dry Pod is to mount your fish finder display to the top surface, store your battery on the inside, and mount your transducer on the underside. Hinged on the bow side of the compartment, the Dry Pod can easily be lifted forward by releasing the rubber strap allowing the ability to remove any debris from your fish finders transducer.
